Lead Audio-Visual Installation Technician

Job overview

The Lead Audio-Visual Installation Technician role is onsite in Redmond, WA, with travel to job sites across Washington and sometimes out of state, up to approximately 50% of the time. Pay is $32–$42 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skill. The role supports a residential systems integrator focused on luxury residential projects. The technician independently installs residential audio-visual, automation, lighting, and shading systems from rough-in through trim-out. The role also documents work, troubleshoots field issues, coordinates with homeowners and trade partners, and supports less experienced technicians as needed.

What you'll do

• Install residential AV, automation, lighting, and shading systems
• pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
• build and install equipment racks and system components
• complete and verify punch lists
• document work with photos, notes, and status updates
• troubleshoot field issues
• communicate with homeowners, builders, and trade partners
• mentor less experienced technicians as needed
• maintain tools, vehicle stock, and job-site organization
• and travel to out-of-area sites up to approximately 50% of the time.
