What you'll do

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations
• assist providers and nurses during examinations, testing, treatment, and education
• review charts and maintain electronic medical records
• perform listed point-of-care tests and screenings
• administer prescribed medications and treatments under provider orders and clinic protocols
• provide patient education and referrals
• perform phone triage tasks under protocol
• maintain exam rooms and supplies
• prepare biohazard materials and sterilize instruments as assigned
• maintain equipment logs and participate in staff orientation and meetings.
