What you'll do

• Provide emergency department nursing care
• perform initial and ongoing assessments and prioritize by acuity
• monitor vital signs and patient status
• administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to orders and protocols
• respond to emergencies and changing conditions
• assist with procedures, trauma care, and resuscitation
• document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• collaborate with the care team
• educate patients and families
• follow infection-control, safety, and department protocols.
