Senior VDC Engineer

Job overview

The Senior VDC Engineer role is hybrid in New York, New York, with one to two days per week meeting clients onsite. Pay is $100,000–$110,000 per year, and the role is eligible for bonuses. VIATechnik’s Studio X works on digital construction and building information modeling and virtual design and construction practices. The engineer leads multi-trade coordination across complex projects, advises clients on digital delivery, and improves constructability and project clarity. The role also mentors teams and advances workflows, automation, and AI-supported processes to improve project outcomes across design and construction.

What you'll do

• Lead multi-trade BIM coordination on commercial and infrastructure projects
• manage client relationships and advise on digital delivery strategy
• translate models into constructability, speed, and clarity improvements
• introduce workflows, automation, and AI-supported processes
• mentor teams and contribute to VDC best practices
• manage multiple projects and communicate with technical teams and executive stakeholders.
