What you'll do

• Triage phone calls and walk-in patients and document assessments
• coordinate and deliver patient education
• inform patients of abnormal lab and x-ray results
• mentor, train, and support LPNs and medical assistants
• participate in chronic-condition programs
• maintain clinic equipment
• administer ordered injections and screens
• perform clinical nursing functions including blood draws, IV insertion and medication or fluid administration, wound care, catheter management, vaccinations, and nurse visits
• protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA
• participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
