The Foundry Worker — Molder/Coremaker role is onsite in Wahoo, NE, with starting pay of $18.50–$20 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with Fridays off. Omaha Steel Casting, part of Owen Industries, produces high-alloy steel castings for industrial applications. The worker makes molds and cores and operates related equipment to support the foundry’s casting production. The role follows production instructions, records shift output, and maintains a clean and safe work area.

What you'll do

• Follow the molding production schedule
• fill, strip, and close molds
• operate and maintain mold- and core-making equipment
• set up pattern and core equipment
• place chills and risers as specified
• operate overhead cranes and air hoists safely
• track and report production by shift
• maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
