The coordinator keeps client visits staffed by matching caregivers to client needs, preferences, qualifications, availability, and travel distances. By resolving coverage gaps, communicating with clients and caregivers, and maintaining accurate scheduling records, the role supports reliable care and caregiver coordination.

What you'll do

• Build, adjust, and maintain caregiver schedules
• respond to call-offs, open shifts, and scheduling conflicts
• recruit available caregivers for open shifts and provide direct care only when reasonable replacement efforts are exhausted
• communicate with caregivers, clients, families, and office staff
• track availability and time-off requests
• monitor hours and potential overtime
• document scheduling changes and coverage efforts
• assist with calls, onboarding, and office operations.
