Personal Care Aide, Part-Time / PRN

Job overview

The Personal Care Aide position is onsite in Clarion, PA, and pays $15.50 per hour to start, increasing to $16.50 per hour after 90 days; mileage reimbursement is $0.70 per mile. The role supports seniors through personal care and companionship in a center or their homes. The aide helps participants live safely and comfortably by assisting with daily activities, observing and reporting changes, documenting services, and adapting schedules to changing care needs. The role also coordinates with the care team and may provide transportation assistance to appointments when assigned.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care, supervision, and companionship
• assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and transfers
• perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation as needed
• travel to participants’ homes and accompany them to appointments when required
• observe and report condition changes
• document care in Alaya Care
• participate in team discussions and quality improvement
• adapt schedules to participant needs
• provide transportation assistance when assigned.
