Toddler Teacher

The Toddler Teacher role is onsite in San Antonio, TX. Compensation is $13–$15.50 per hour. My Little Team Texas provides toddler classroom care and learning activities at its San Antonio location. The teacher creates a safe, welcoming classroom and supports toddlers’ physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and play. The role also monitors milestones, communicates with families, supports hygiene and safety routines, and collaborates with the teaching team.

What you'll do

• Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom
• design and implement age-appropriate activities
• observe children’s progress and milestones and adapt teaching methods
• facilitate learning through play
• communicate with parents about progress and concerns using Procare
• implement positive behavior strategies
• supervise hygiene, meals, and snacks
• document meals and CACFP forms
• collaborate with teachers and staff
• participate in professional development.

Why this role

Child care setting experience and two years of daycare experience are required; First Aid and CPR certification and 24-hour pre-service training are required. CDA is a plus. Schedule listed as 12 p.m.–6 p.m. or 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
