Maintenance Technician, Manufacturing (All Shifts)

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Hickory, NC. Pay is $30–$32 per hour, based on experience. The position supports production equipment and facility infrastructure in a manufacturing setting. The technician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to reduce downtime and support productivity. The role also contributes through preventive maintenance, accurate records, safety compliance, and coordination with production, quality, and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Inspect, maintain, and repair production machinery and control systems
• perform scheduled preventive maintenance
• diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and test equipment
• repair facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and structural components
• maintain maintenance records
• follow OSHA, company safety, and GMP requirements
• assist with audits
• recommend upgrades and participate in root-cause analysis
• coordinate with production, quality, and engineering
• communicate during shift handovers and meetings.

Why this role

Three shifts are available: 6:30 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11:30 p.m., and 11 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; overtime is available. High school diploma or GED required; 2–4 years of relevant maintenance experience required.
