Job overview

The Multi-Skilled Operator role is onsite in Kalkaska, MI. Pay is $15–$20 per hour. Wayne Wire Cloth Products manufactures precision filtration and aerospace components, and operators may move among company roles and support other departments as workloads change. The operator performs brazing, assembly, press and forming work, and quality inspection. The role supports production needs across departments while maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

What you'll do

• Perform torch and induction brazing
• read braze schedules and participate in brazing qualification
• operate presses and metal-forming machinery
• inspect components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• support brazing, press operations, assembly, and other departments as workflow demands
• maintain a clean work area
• follow safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives.
