Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe

The Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe role is onsite, with work at the Havertown and Media, PA offices as needed. Starting pay is $19+ per hour, with higher pay for experienced candidates. The full-time schedule is generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with one 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. evening shift each week. The role supports a patient-focused eye care practice. Working alongside doctors during patient visits, the technician/scribe gathers and documents patient histories, performs preliminary eye tests, and supports patient care. The position provides on-the-job learning in clinical skills and techniques, including for candidates without prior ophthalmology experience.
