· Requires the ability to read drawings and follow instructions, use precision measuring tools and to set up and operate engine (manual) lathes. Reports directly to supervisor, Machine Shop, or his/her designate. · Performs turning, facing, boring, threading, reaming, and other standard lathe operations. · Selects and adjusts, feeds, speeds, and tooling.
