What you'll do

• Lead mechanical design, equipment, and controls engineers and R&D fabricators and technicians
• guide development of materials-processing and battery-testing equipment
• balance resources and cross-functional objectives
• hire, onboard, retain, coach, and develop team members
• contribute to system designs from concept through operational support
• review and approve design reviews, P&IDs, HAZID/HAZOPS, verification, and acceptance test plans
• support troubleshooting and continuous improvement
• work with R&D Operations and R&D Battery Operations to improve reliability, quality, and uptime
• document and communicate design decisions and experimental outcomes
• plan and execute projects.
