Registered Nurse (RN) - Women Services Super Pool in Wylie, TX. This is a full-time, onsite position that participates in an on-call schedule. Compensation is not specified. The purpose of this role is to provide consistent, safe, high-quality care for all assigned laboring patients from admission to post-delivery. The RN will demonstrate expertise in providing care for patients during the PACU period as well as newborn care for the first two hours of life.

What you'll do

• Is accountable for consistent, safe, high quality care of all laboring patients assigned from admission to post delivery.
• Is familiar with vaginal and C-section births, fetal monitoring and provide care for patients who receive various types of anesthesia.
• Will demonstrate expertise in providing care for patient during PACU period as well as newborn care first two hours of life

What we're looking for

Education

Associate Degree is required - BSN required within 24 months of hire/transfer into RN position

Experience

Must have a minimum of three (3) years recent experience as an RN in Women Services in a hospital environment...L&D, Mother Baby, Antepartum; Must have the demonstrated ability to care for women of childbearing age and infants up to four (4) years old; Must have L&D experience
