What you'll do

• Establish inventory requirements
• partner with Scheduling, Manufacturing, and Engineering on material plans
• manage vendor relationships and source vendors
• review and approve purchase orders and requisitions
• improve inventory practices and data reliability
• oversee cycle counts and physical inventory
• manage packaging and shipping processes with freight carriers and warehousing firms
• track functional metrics
• manage Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse, and Shipping teams
• apply continuous improvement.
