Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Austin, TX, Monday through Friday. Pay is $33.50 per hour, approximately $70,000 annually, with overtime eligibility. The role supports day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, general ledger activity, reconciliations, financial reporting, cash management, and audit preparation. It contributes to accurate financial records and reliable reporting across a small accounting team.

What you'll do

• Maintain general ledger activity
• prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and close schedules
• support accounts payable and receivable
• reconcile bank, deposit, revenue, and balance-sheet accounts
• assist with cash management, financial statements, budgeting, W-9s and 1099s, and audit preparation
• research accounting matters with customers and vendors
• provide backup across accounting functions.
