Remediation Project Engineer

Job overview

The Remediation Project Engineer role is hybrid, with at least three onsite days per week at the Concord or Long Beach, CA office; relocation assistance may be provided. Compensation is $80,000–$180,000 per year, with a stated California minimum of $72,384 annually. EnSafe’s mission focuses on environmental, health, and safety consulting. The engineer supports and leads environmental remediation projects from investigation and feasibility work through design, implementation, and system optimization. Technical delivery, regulatory compliance, client coordination, and business-development support help address soil, groundwater, and vapor contamination at regulated sites.

What you'll do

• Implement pilot studies and field testing
• prepare feasibility studies, remedial action plans, and cost estimates
• design and oversee remedial systems for soil, groundwater, and vapor contamination
• oversee system operation and maintenance, data collection, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
• evaluate data and prepare reports
• conduct environmental inspections and provide recommendations
• communicate with clients, regulators, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• collaborate with California senior leadership
• support business development and technical proposals.
