Lending Specialist — Sales (Consumer Loan Officer)

The Lending Specialist — Sales (Consumer Loan Officer) role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. The specialist originates and closes consumer loans while helping members understand their options and make informed financial decisions. The role supports loan production, member satisfaction, account retention, and service goals through consultative sales, financial counseling, and business development.

What you'll do

• Interview applicants about financial history and goals while submitting loan applications
• guide members through the loan process
• conduct internal and external business development and account retention
• help control loan runoff and increase interest and fee income
• track and report trends
• support education and service teams
• develop consumer finance and sales skills
• comply with Bank Secrecy Act policies and regulations.
