The Hospice Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant role is based in McKinney, TX, and pays $18–$22 per hour. The Staff Pad is partnering with a nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex; care is provided in patients’ homes. Working under a Registered Nurse’s supervision, the aide provides personal care, supports comfort and dignity, and communicates changes in patient condition to the care team. The role helps patients and families through the hospice journey with respectful, patient-centered support.

What you'll do

  • Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
  • support safe transfers, mobility, and ambulation
  • observe, document, and report changes to the RN Case Manager
  • support nutrition, hydration, comfort, and daily living
  • maintain a clean and respectful home environment
  • follow care plans, infection control, hospice, and documentation standards
  • collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
  • protect privacy and personal property
  • perform assigned treatments and procedures according to agency policies.
