The intern takes on a guided engineering project to address manufacturing challenges and contribute to improvements in safety, quality, productivity, cost, or product performance. The work includes gathering and analyzing data, documenting findings, collaborating across functions, and presenting project results and recommendations to facility leadership.

What you'll do

  • Learn and follow facility safety practices
  • work with team members to define a project and develop practical solutions
  • collect and analyze engineering or production data
  • use assignment-relevant tools such as CAD, testing equipment, data analysis, root cause analysis, or lean methods
  • document work and communicate progress
  • present project findings and recommendations to facility leadership.
