What you'll do

• Provide individualized nursing care based on assessment, develop and adjust care plans with patients and families, communicate patient information and handoffs, and document responses to treatment.
• Support discharge planning, patient and family education, and safe medication practices.
• Clinical care includes labor and delivery, postpartum and antepartum care, cesarean and gynecological postoperative care, and specified infant care.
• The role also assists with orientation and training and supervises other staff.
• Requirements include at least two years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience, an associate degree in nursing, North Carolina or qualifying compact licensure, BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, STABLE, and Handle With Care.
