What you'll do

• Design, develop, integrate, test, demonstrate, and maintain embedded software applications for freight locomotive control
• develop and maintain software components, systems, and networks
• implement software from requirements analysis through production and deployment
• program in C and C++
• maintain and enhance existing products
• collaborate with business and engineering teams to meet product and interface requirements
• participate in design and code reviews
• improve performance and reliability
• mentor junior engineers as needed
• discuss technical matters with customers and partners
• and document software design, requirements, and architectures. Travel is 10%.
