Referral Coordinator

What you'll do

• Take telephone authorization requests
• prepare and track referral requests
• ensure referral correspondence is received and reviewed by providers
• generate referral and authorization reports
• answer and direct calls
• schedule and confirm appointments
• maintain patient charts and forms
• verify billing and insurance information
• register patients
• obtain prior authorizations
• collect copayments
• translate for patients or staff
• maintain confidentiality.
