Veterinary Technician

What you'll do

• Obtain patient histories, vital signs, and weights
• perform venipuncture and place IV catheters
• administer medications and fluids as directed
• handle and monitor patients
• prepare for surgery and dentistry
• monitor and recover patients under anesthesia
• perform dental cleanings and radiographs
• run laboratory samples
• maintain medical records
• communicate care plans to clients
• and support and train assistants and newer team members.
