Technician Associate

Job overview

The Technician Associate role is based out of Oskaloosa, IA, with some workdays there and extensive travel throughout the United States and occasionally abroad. Compensation is not specified. Musco’s Services Team supports sports and large-area lighting projects and services. The position provides hands-on training in Musco systems, services, and field operations while contributing to field service and temporary lighting projects. The associate operates equipment, performs maintenance and inspections, coordinates project resources, and documents field work to support safe, timely service delivery.

What you'll do

• Operate equipment used at lighting projects, including forklifts, aerial lifts, generators, non-CDL vehicles, and rental cars
• perform field service work that may involve heights
• learn Musco products and services
• maintain, repair, and inspect equipment and products
• coordinate project timing with customers, vendors, equipment, and personnel
• communicate schedules with the Field Logistics Supervisor
• submit field reports and paperwork
• work on crews or individually on temporary lighting and warranty-related projects
• make daily expense decisions.
