Special Education Teacher — Autism Support

The Special Education Teacher — Autism Support role is onsite in Whitestone, NY. What you'll do

• Conduct formal and informal assessments of educational programs and behavior interventions
• implement IFSPs, IEPs, and student programs
• prepare for and attend relevant conferences
• administer curriculum-based and standardized assessments
• differentiate instruction based on student needs and IEP goals
• implement behavior plans and data collection when required
• supervise teaching assistants and aides
• support student health, safety, and welfare
• meet with parents about progress.
