Electrical Engineer Expert

The Electrical Engineer Expert role is onsite in the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas. Pay is $55–$60 per hour. The engineer designs, develops, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems for small robots and other ground-based vehicles according to customer requirements. The role contributes engineering design solutions and product improvements by applying electrical engineering principles, conducting research, and testing systems. It also supports manufacturing, installation, and operational testing, while providing technical expertise to junior engineers and working with a manager and Tech Lead.

What you'll do

• Design electrical equipment, components, products, and systems
• design and test control apparatus and determine product testing methods
• develop applications for controls, instruments, and systems
• ensure manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing meet specifications and customer requirements
• coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of field equipment
• use computer-assisted engineering and design tools
• lead the DFMEA process and perform functional safety analysis.
