What you'll do

• Review medical histories, labs, medications, and imaging
• complete pre-procedure assessments and verify consent and documentation
• educate patients and families
• start IVs and administer ordered medications
• circulate during procedures and monitor vital signs, oxygenation, rhythm, and responsiveness
• administer moderate sedation and analgesics as permitted
• document care
• monitor recovery and access sites
• manage symptoms, provide discharge instructions, and communicate changes to providers.
