The Boiler/Kiln Lift and Loader Operator role is onsite in Atmore, AL, and pays $18 per hour. Swift Lumber needs an operator to run boilers and kilns safely and efficiently and support mill operations.

What you'll do

• Operate boilers and kilns and equipment including a large forklift, front-end loader, man lift, and skid steer
• read instruments and gauges
• maintain fuel piles and clean grates
• document boiler logs and track general maintenance
• analyze equipment breakdowns and perform maintenance or repairs to restore operation
• follow lockout procedures, plant safety rules, and housekeeping practices
• communicate kiln schedules, quality, and maintenance needs across departments.
