Senior CNC Programming Engineer — 5-Axis, Mastercam

The Senior CNC Programming Engineer — 5-Axis, Mastercam role is onsite in Addison, IL. The schedule is first shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with overtime available. Compensation is $45–$55 per hour. The role supports manufacturing of aerospace components. The engineer develops and revises CNC programs and manufacturing plans, verifies machine code, and coordinates inspection with quality assurance. The work improves machining accuracy and efficiency through toolpath development, process testing, program optimization, and controlled release of programs to the shop floor.

What you'll do

• Create and revise CNC programs with tooling, fixturing, and setup documentation
• use Mastercam, SolidWorks, and Vericut to develop manufacturing plans and verify machine code
• collaborate with tooling vendors on tests and implementation plans
• manage controlled program release and shop-floor distribution
• work with QA to define inspection points and documentation
• optimize programs, fixtures, and strategies to reduce cycle time and increase throughput.
