Performance Load Test Architect/Lead — SAP is a remote role for candidates residing in the continental United States, with onsite attendance in Middletown, PA, one week per month and occasional travel. Pay is $40–$75 per hour. The role supports the State of Pennsylvania’s Journi program. The architect leads performance engineering and testing so enterprise systems can meet workload, scalability, and production-readiness expectations. The role establishes standards, directs testing and monitoring, identifies bottlenecks, and communicates risks and recommendations to project and executive stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Own performance engineering strategy for the Journi program
• develop testing standards and workload models
• establish non-functional requirements, service objectives, agreements, and acceptance criteria
• lead performance planning and testing across SAP, CRM, middleware, APIs, batch processing, integrations, portals, mobile applications, IVR, and chatbots
• review architecture for scalability risks
• lead capacity planning, monitoring, root-cause analysis, and tuning recommendations
• implement NeoLoad and automated regression testing
• develop dashboards and executive reports
• and document work according to Commission requirements.

Why this role
