The Sushi Sous Chef role is onsite in Miami, FL. Pay is $25–$28 per hour. The role supports Sushi by Scratch Restaurants’ kitchen and hospitality service, with the property managed by Ariete Hospitality. The sous chef supports daily kitchen service and fills in for the Head Chef in a leadership capacity. Through accurate recipe execution, organized preparation, inventory support, and adherence to kitchen standards, the role contributes to consistent sushi craft and guest hospitality.

What you'll do

• Execute recipes and techniques accurately
• assist with ordering, inventory, and receiving product
• learn and uphold Sushi by Scratch standards and systems
• support daily service and fill in for the Head Chef’s leadership role
• maintain clean, orderly preparation and quality
• prepare sushi rice and sauces and manage fish storage and rotation.
