Service Manager — Commercial Laundry Equipment

Job overview

The Service Manager position is onsite in greater New Orleans, LA. Compensation is $120,000–$140,000 base salary plus bonus opportunities. The role is with a distributor of commercial laundry and dry-cleaning equipment that provides equipment sales, installation, service, and parts. The manager leads territory service operations, balancing emergency response with proactive scheduling, technician development, customer management, and recurring service growth. The role supports service profitability and customer retention by improving technician utilization and operational execution.

What you'll do

• Lead dispatch and optimize schedules, routes, and technician utilization
• manage, renew, and expand preventative maintenance contracts
• onboard, evaluate, and mentor technicians
• supervise dispatch and office support staff
• maintain ERP/NetSuite data accuracy
• oversee local warehouse operations
• conduct client visits to assess needs and support market share and customer retention.
