Heavy Equipment Operator (Front Loader)

The Heavy Equipment Operator (Front Loader) role is onsite in Fresno, CA, with pay of $18–$22 per hour. Compensation supports Mid Valley Disposal’s Material Recovery Facility and Compost Operations, which contribute to environmental sustainability and responsible resource management. This role keeps recyclable and waste materials moving through recycling and composting operations while supporting safe, productive facility work. The operator handles equipment and materials, monitors equipment condition, and works with facility colleagues to maintain efficient material flow.

What you'll do

• Safely operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment
• move, load, sort, and transport recyclable and waste materials
• maintain material flow to conveyors and processing areas
• complete daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues
• keep work areas clean and organized
• report unsafe conditions, contamination, or prohibited materials
• follow OSHA and company safety procedures
• work with supervisors, spotters, maintenance staff, and team members
• assist with site cleanup and other facility duties as needed.
