The Youth Development Professional — After School role is onsite in Bethalto, IL, and pays $16 per hour. The role develops and implements activities that support young people’s academic and social success. It contributes by guiding participants, coordinating program activities and special events, tracking participation, and supporting their development and involvement in educational, recreational, and leadership opportunities.

What you'll do

• Plan and implement activities within budget
• coordinate with the Site Director
• recruit participants
• support personal development and participation
• apply guidance and discipline policies
• maintain related records
• recommend and develop program offerings
• plan special events and field trips
• coordinate with community resources and volunteers
• assist with enrollment, clerical work, and record keeping
• support student assignments and coordinate with classroom teachers as assigned.
