The Special Education Teacher, Behavior Classroom role is onsite in Providence, RI. Pay is $45–$52 per hour. Pediatric Developmental Services places qualified teachers and pediatric therapists with schools and clinics to support children. The teacher develops and delivers individualized instruction and supports students’ educational and behavioral progress. The role works with families, school staff, and an onsite therapist to maintain a safe, productive classroom and help students advance toward their goals.

What you'll do

• Create and implement Individualized Education Plans
• prepare lesson plans for administrator approval
• participate in scheduled IEP meetings
• communicate student progress and challenges to staff and families
• use individualized reinforcement techniques
• prepare quarterly progress reports
• and consult with the onsite therapist about behavioral and disciplinary issues.
