Senior Civil Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater

The Senior Civil Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater role is hybrid and may be based in Greater Boston, Providence, RI, or Glastonbury, CT; other local candidates who can frequently travel to local offices may also be considered. Compensation is not specified. Apex’s Northeast Division works on civil, environmental, water resources, and transportation projects. The engineer provides technical leadership and project support for drinking water, water supply, and wastewater systems design. The role contributes to project delivery by coordinating technical work, budgets, schedules, staff, clients, and construction administration while maintaining quality and supporting the Project Manager.

What you'll do

• Support project planning, coordination, and execution
• develop technical solutions, scopes, schedules, and fee estimates
• monitor budgets and project progress
• coordinate design disciplines and consultants
• serve as technical lead on complex projects
• supervise and train staff
• review designs and calculations
• attend client meetings and public hearings
• support construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout.
