What you'll do

• Coordinate patient care and provide direct care where required
• serve as charge nurse for the assigned shift
• support unit staff in identifying patient care and professional needs
• precept nurse externs, interns, orientees, and student nurses as needed
• educate and counsel patients
• identify and conduct staff education
• ensure testing and scheduling are complete before procedures
• process time and attendance information.

Why this role

Day shift, Monday–Friday and every other weekend, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Requires a BSN, three years of progressive nursing experience in the assigned specialty, a current DC nursing license, clinical-area certification, and current BLS.
