What you'll do

• Document patient histories, examinations, procedures, treatments, education, diagnoses, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions
• prepare referral letters
• coordinate and send records
• perform phone and clerical tasks
• identify documentation inconsistencies and alert physicians to incomplete charts
• organize data for quality reporting and follow-up tracking
• proofread medical documents
• comply with HIPAA confidentiality standards.
