Staff Accountant

Job overview

The Staff Accountant works onsite in Jupiter, FL, Monday through Friday. Compensation is $50,000 or more per year, based on experience. What you'll do

• Process and review invoices for accuracy, approval, and general-ledger coding
• ensure timely vendor invoice and expense-reimbursement payments
• reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
• assist with month-end close
• monitor aging reports
• reconcile credit-card expenses
• prepare service, milestone/progress, and deposit invoices according to contract terms
• process daily cash receipts
• follow up on outstanding receivables
• perform bank reconciliations.
