In-Home Caregiver

The In-Home Caregiver role is onsite in Lansing, MI, and serves Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, and surrounding communities. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. FirstLight Home Care supports older adults in remaining comfortable and independent in their homes. Caregivers provide companionship and may assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, safe mobility, and transfers. They follow each client’s care plan and communicate with the care team, helping clients maintain comfort and independence.

What you'll do

• Provide companionship and conversation
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• support safe mobility and transfers
• assist people living with dementia or Parkinson’s disease
• follow client care plans and communicate with the care team.
