The Before and After School Teacher at Mark DeLay Elementary is an onsite contract role based in Darien, IL. The pay range is $15.00 - $20.25 per hour, supporting the Champions department in providing high-quality out-of-school care for elementary-aged children. This role exists to implement curriculum, create a safe and nurturing environment, and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children. The teacher supports center success by partnering with leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom, model behaviors and provide feedback, implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child, create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn, partner and connect with parents, support your center’s success, cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
