What you'll do

• Assist the resident activity director
• lead and participate in individual and group activities
• use individualized approaches such as pet, music, or art therapy
• help decorate and prepare for special events and seasonal parties
• develop and post a monthly activity calendar
• participate in recreational programs for residents confined to their rooms
• promote community volunteer efforts
• maintain activity and attendance records
• store supplies and clean activity areas
• provide or arrange comfort and support for residents and families when needed.
