What you'll do

• Inspect vehicles and safety and emergency equipment
• report defects, accidents, violations, or vehicle damage
• perform routine equipment maintenance and identify maintenance needs
• verify load documentation
• communicate with bases, supervisors, and other drivers using truck equipment
• maintain work-hour and vehicle service logs in accordance with regulations
• maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions and verify proper positioning.
