What you'll do

• Lead a pod of 3–5 structural designers while maintaining a personal design workload
• assign and balance projects
• review drawings, dielines, and samples before release
• coach and mentor designers
• develop structural concepts, drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions
• build and test samples
• evaluate materials and manufacturing methods
• present concepts to clients and internal teams
• track capacity, quality, and deadlines
• travel to plants, vendors, and client sites up to 10%.
