The Director of Physical Plant role is onsite in Dyersburg, TN, with regular travel among Dyersburg State Community College locations. Compensation is $80,223–$100,195 per year. The role supports the College’s facilities and physical assets across its locations. The director provides strategic and operational leadership for facilities planning, maintenance, safety, and sustainability. The role oversees staff and projects, manages facilities operations and budgets, and helps ensure campus facilities remain safe, functional, and aligned with institutional needs.

What you'll do

• Lead facilities planning, design, renovation, construction, and maintenance
• develop budgets, condition assessments, maintenance priorities, and long-range plans
• coordinate capital projects with the Tennessee Board of Regents and project partners
• oversee maintenance, custodial, grounds, safety, and environmental health activities
• manage compliance, emergency preparedness, work orders, access systems, staff, service standards, and procurement.
