Body Shop Technician

The Body Shop Technician role is onsite in Blairstown, IA; compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Identify parts needed for repairs
• review repair orders and estimates
• follow warranty guidelines and report repair additions
• adjust, replace, and repair truck and trailer equipment
• perform sheet metal, fiberglass, panel, fabrication, welding, cab-component, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• road-test vehicles when needed
• inspect for hidden damage
• advise the estimator of additional damage or schedule concerns
• maintain current technical knowledge.

Why this role

At least two years of body shop experience is required; welding, suspension, and framework experience is a plus, or the candidate may be willing to learn. I-CAR is preferred but not required.
