The Child Watch Attendant role is onsite in Carnegie, PA. The listed schedule is Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–11 a.m., Saturday 8 a.m.–10 a.m., and Monday–Thursday 5:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. Compensation is $11 per hour. The role provides care for children of YMCA members and participants and supports the association’s mission.

What you'll do

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-arranged child-care area
• keep equipment and materials in good repair
• sanitize toys and clean participation areas
• and provide appropriate materials and activities. Support children’s social-emotional development and self-help routines, use group management techniques, supervise and engage children safely, and communicate with families in a friendly and respectful manner. CPR, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, Working with Program Volunteers, and YMCA program-specific certifications are listed as typical requirements within 30 days of hire.
