Home Care Caregiver

Job overview

The Home Care Caregiver role is onsite in West Torrington, CT, with a case scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at least four hours each day; compensation is $17–$18.50 per hour. Always Best Care of Greater Bristol provides non-medical homemaker and companion services in Litchfield County. The caregiver provides routine personal care and household assistance, companionship, transportation, medication reminders, and meal support to meet an individual client’s needs.

What you'll do

• Provide bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
• perform house maintenance when applicable, light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
• answer client phone calls when necessary
• provide reassurance and conversation
• transport clients to appointments, activities, and shopping
• provide medication reminders
• prepare meals and clean up.
